Our Story

Mershaina Estate has been owned and operated by our family since the mid-1920s. A mechanical press was added in 1941 to complement the growing business and since then olive oil production has been our core focus. 
Being one of the first mechanical presses at the time, it attracted growers from across the region who would have their harvest pressed daily. This created a strong sense of community around oil production, ensuring quality, efficiency and best practices were shared and maintained.
Today, our olive oil production is supplemented by pickled table olives, olive oil soap, pomegranate molasses and Arak. 

Our Product

Olives are sourced exclusively from our ancestral groves in the mountains of Northern Lebanon and are a blend of the Ayrouni and Chami olive varieties. Cold-pressed within hours of harvest, the oil is unrefined and extracted by a sustainable mechanical milling process that does not use heat, water or chemicals. Our process which remains unchanged, preserves quality, taste and ensures a high polyphenol content. The vibrant green colour carries scents of aromatic herbs and citrus with a strong pungent finish that will elevate any dish.
